Metaverse how fascinating the word is! The concept is even more fascinating. Please buckleup yourself and get ready to dive deep into metaverse with me.
You all might be aware about the news that techno giant Facebook grp of companies adopted the name Meta. This was their one step towards their own ambitious Meta project(name of their own metaverse). I would like to clear one doubt here itself that metaverse is not of Facebook, they just trying to compete with other metaverse developers.

The metaverse is the “next big thing” of the digital age and the next evolution of social connection. Today’s Internet can’t convey the full range of human connection and presence, but these are the defining qualities of the metaverse.
Best explained, “While no one knows for sure what the metaverse will look like, its basic characteristics are established—it spans physical and virtual worlds, is centered around a fully functioning economy, and allows users to travel through its different “places” with relative ease, maintaining their purchased goods and avatars.”
No one person or company can have control over the metaverse. The metaverse is a subset of the Internet. A virtual world that everyone will have a hand in building, using developing technologies like virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), blockchain, and cryptocurrency.
What’s essential for you to know is the metaverse has the potential to change everyday life. It could become a trillion-dollar industry—a go-to for entertainment, commerce, and even a place of work. Google, Microsoft, Samsung, and Sony have joined Facebook in shaping the future of the metaverse. Will you?
The metaverse is still a ways off but the foundation is being built today. Mark Zuckerberg believes it will be mainstream in the next 5-10 years. Within the next decade he thinks the metaverse will reach a billion people, host hundreds of billions of dollars of digital commerce, and support jobs for millions of creators and developers.

Well I think it's enough of business explanation, now we should move to it's most interesting part(It's experience and overview).
The metaverse will be the biggest disruption that humans have ever experienced. It is a wrapper that will roll up other digital platforms.Experience
The 24 hours I spent in virtual world confirmed to me that there is a long way to go before we can truly use it in our daily lives. I started my day as usual, the only difference was i was wearing VR headset. The day looked completely normal till I set up VR headset, as soon as it was done (boom). Suddenly while sipping coffee I was into a complete different world, full of greenery, fewer population with mountains and rivers passing through my backyard(scenery appears on the basis of your personal choice). Here we participate as our virtual avatars, that we customize it as per our needs before entering into it.

So after entering I first decided to explore it's community. Had some words with others and at last i realized that the person with whom I was talking was actually from Russia(that just drove me crazy), I understood immediately that how it's gonna affect our life. Then I called my cousins(living abroad) to catch up in metaverse. Below pic gives you the glimpse of it.

Finally I ended my day by playing some games(sandbox). But at night even after much enjoyment my body wasn't tired much but my eyes(oh god!) was paining a lot. So it completely diluted my enjoyment. I even tried of sleeping with VR set but it lead to an unsuccessful attempt.
Investment opportunities and my verdict
You might get astonished to hear that big firms are actually buying big pieces of land with real money in the virtual world. Recently Pooja Entertainment bought land worth 5000$. Even the international food retail chain McDonald's bought land to develop virtual shops there, looks interesting isn't it? Here many individuals too bought virtual assets thinking to lease there assets on rent and make money from it.

Though it looks like it's ready to enroll commercially but it still has to manage many things and cope up with abundant issues(firstly of privacy). You can expect it till 2025 at the earliest.Still I've to discuss many things but will do it on some another day.

Excellent Keep it up Vraj!
